Richardson Milling

Richardson Milling, a division of Richardson International, selected Primus to provide design-build services on their new 90,000 SF oat distribution center in South Sioux City, NE. The new distribution center was designed to optimize material handling of the mill’s raw materials, ingredients and finished products. The new facility, in conjunction with multiple processing enhancements and a new corporate office, has streamlined Richardson’s overall milling operations. It is designed for maximum optimization of the cube with storage heights of 60’ that will accommodate SKU growth for many years to come. The design provides for a single, very narrow aisle (VNA) deep selective pallet racking configuration that is accessed by automated turret trucks.
