Pilgrim’s Pride

Pilgrim’s Pride is one of the largest poultry processing operations in the United States. When increased demand required the firm expand its Elberton, Georgia processing plant. Primus Builders was selected for the project.

The 11,955 SF project entailed the demolition, conversion and renovation of an interior portion of the facility, and the construction of a new wet cooler. The expansion included a 45° process room, a 45° ingredient room, a new 35° wet cooler, and a new compressor room.

In compliance with USDA regulations, the facility remained in operation during the renovation and expansion process.
