Perdue Farms

Perdue Farms is one of the largest poultry processors in the country. The firm purchased an old brewery in Perry, Georgia, with the intent of converting it into a poultry processing plant. Perdue selected Primus Builders to perform design-build services.

For the 88,000 SF project, ambient space needed to be converted to cooler space in order to handle the storage and distribution of the products made at the plant. A new truck dock also was included in the scope of work. Other features included a 35°F box-in-box cooler, connecting corridor, engine and maintenance rooms, and a battery charging area.
