Mullica Hill Cold Storage

Mullica Hill Cold Storage is a third party logistics provider for the chilled and frozen food industry. The firm’s operations have been steadily growing since its inception in 1964 and currently include six warehouses totaling more than 12 million cubic square feet. The Mullica Hill Group is the largest receiver of imported meat in the United States and supports three USDA inspection houses.

When demand for its services increased, Mullica Hill chose to expand its cold storage building in Pedricktown, New Jersey. Primus provided design-build services on this 130,000 SF addition which adds 14,000 more pallet positions, boosting the company’s total to 68,000 pallet positions. The addition also offers USDA meat import inspection services and is FDA approved and U.S. Customs bonded.
