Cold Summit Development

Cold Summit is a leading developer of cold storage facilities. Their goal is to provide tenants with maximum options, from freezer temperatures to office space. Their development services target both conventional and high-bay ASRS facilities.

Cold Summit selected Primus to provide design-build services on this 344,000 SF greenfield cold storage faciltiy. Spaces include convertible freezers (-10° to 55°), truck docks, office space and maintenance areas. Primus worked closely with the City of Dallas to successfully navigate their permitting process, which kept the construction schedule on track.

This facility will be a multi-tenant complex with four individual tenant areas. Each will be independent from the others. Tenant #1 will have two suites and the remaining three tenants will have a single suite each.

The convertible freezers give potential tenants the ability to pivot to consumer conditions as they change. The same is true for the office space. Cold Summit will work with each tenant to create a design that suits their particular office space needs.
