When Chicken of the Sea, an international seafood producer, moved their tuna canning operation to the United States, they purchased a 200,000 SF facility in Lyons, Georgia. The firm then engaged Primus Builders to tailor the facility to their needs with the addition of a freezer and cold dock. Primus was awarded the project based on its in-house design-build capabilities and engineering efforts, as well as its previous experience with the Georgia Ports Authority.
