Americold

Americold has been a leader in the temperature-controlled supply chain industry for more than 100 years. When one of its biggest customers, Ocean Spray, required a new facility, Americold selected Primus to provide design-build services on a new 173,000 SF cold storage building.

One of Ocean Spray’s most popular healthy foods, harvested cranberries, is kept frozen in the cold storage area at temperatures ranging from 20° in the freezer to 34° on the dock. There are a total of thirteen dock doors in the cold storage area. Additional features include a 2,000 SF office space, a maintenance area, break room and an employee locker room.
