Richardson Oilseed, one of Canada’s oldest and largest fully-integrated crushing, refining, processing and packaging operations, hosted its 24th Annual Charity Golf Classic in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada last week. The yearly event raises funds for local charities, which this year included The Galt Museum, Therapeutic Riding and West Winds Gymnastics. Golfers enjoyed a day on the links and a reception held at the Galt Museum. Richardson’s Director of Operations, Shirley Gilmour, served as Master of Ceremonies. The reception included appearances by CFL star Henry Williams and country entertainer Trevor Panczak. Primus served as a Major Sponsor of the event, its fourth consecutive year.
Primus Builders has teamed with Richardson to provide turn-key design and construction services on a significant expansion to their Lethbridge, Alberta edible oil processing and distribution facility (see: Richardson Oilseed).
Primus continues to develop additional projects with Richardson throughout Canada and the United States. Primus President and CEO Rich O’Connell and Primus Vice President Tony Pitrone attended the charity event. “Richardson once again hosted a first class event where wonderful camaraderie is eclipsed only by Richardson’s ongoing gifting to worthwhile community organizations. The managers from the Lethbridge plant and Winnipeg headquarters work hand-in-hand to plan and implement this event each year, making their personal investment as noteworthy as the overall corporate generosity,” said Pitrone.
